The Brisbane Badminton Association Proudly Hosts  the Queensland Championships 2010
Saturday 21st August 2010 & Sunday 22nd August 2010

The Calamvale Community Sports Centre, Hamish St, Calamvale

Play is expected to commence at 8.30 am (each morning) and conclude by
approximately 8.30 pm each day.

Prices To Play
Open Grade Events - $18.00 per player per event
Other Events (Including Masters) - $15.00 per player per event

A late fee of $10 per player will apply for entry fees not received by the
closing date.

The Draw will be available on the BBA/QBA Websites on Thursday 19 August 2010 (www.brisbanebadminton.org) and
www.qba.net.au It will be emailed to those players who provide an email address. For Further Information email

NOTE YOU CAN PLAY A MAXIMUM OF 3 EVENTS ON ANY DAY AND 5 EVENTS IN
TOTAL. EVENTS WILL BE COMPLETED ON THE DATE ADVERTISED.

2010 Brisbane Badminton Championships

Please find attached the entry form for the upcoming City of Brisbane Badminton Championships 2010 on the 22nd & 23rd off May 2009.

Please let others know that may be interested.
 
The tournament will be held at the Calamvale Community Sports Centre, Hamish Street, Calamvale. Entries close Tuesday 11th May 2010.  More information about the tournament can be found on the entry form or by emailing
 
In order to play in this tournament you must be a current member of the Qld Badminton Association or a member of your respective State Badminton Association.  If you are not sure whether your membership is current please send me a note and I will check for you. If not sure of your grade please send me a note.
 
 
 
 
Entry fees can be paid directly into the BBA bank account.   Alternately they can be forwarded by cheque to the address on the attached entry form.

Brisbane Teams Event
The Brisbane Badminton Association is hosting the Brisbane Badminton Teams event on Sunday 28 March 2010. 
 
The tournament will be held at Calamvale Community Sports Centre, Hamish St, Calamvale.
 
 
Entries close on the 18 March 2010 (or prior if the maximum number of teams for an event is received).
 
Your club is invited to enter one team in each of the events below:

Open/A Grade Mixed Team
(Doubles Only)
2 Ladies and 4 Men to a team.
(There can be no more than  1 Open Lady and 2 Open Men in a team)
$180 per team
B/C Grade Mixed Team
(Doubles Only)
2 Ladies and 4 Men to a team. 
(There has to be at least 2 C Grade players in the Team)
$180 per team  

Entries for the Open/A Grade Mixed Team event will be limited to 6 teams. 
 
Entries for the B/C Grade Mixed Team event will be limited to 10 teams. 
 
All clubs are limited to one team each in an event.   
Entries will be accepted on a first in first served basis.
 
Play is expected to commence at 8.00 am and conclude by 8.00pm.
 
This is a club teams competition and there can be no more than two visitors in a team.  
Players clubs will be determined via the club listed on their current QBA membership.
 
This is a club team competition and a great opportunity to get some new players involved.
